Did you ever felt that 24 hours per day are not enough to finish all your chores? That you need a few more hours? Did you felt exhausted at the end of the day?
If yes, you are not alone, many people are dealing with time management challenges, but remember you have the same 24 hours per day as every other person, and that is enough. You just have to pay little more attention on how you manage your time, instead to let the time to manage you.
And this is how to get started:
Make „To-Do Lists“ .
Make a list of things you need to do, list all the activities you are planning for the following day and for the next week. Sort all activities by date and priority and thus get a clearer picture of your responsibilities.
It would be best to start the day by taking 10 minutes to write and plan what you will do that day, or just create your To-Do List the night before. Turn on the alarm and set a time to complete each task. After each completed task, set aside 5 minutes of rest for yourself and see if you have been successful in completing the task.
At the end of the day, make some time for reflection, reflect how your day was, did you achieved everything you wanted to and how did it made you feel.
It is important to be active and dedicate yourself to what you are doing. After each month, read everything you have done and what you have not to know in the future where you are wasting your time and what you are constantly repeating.
If the tasks last longer than 25 minutes, take 5 minute breaks. After a few intervals, extend the break. You cannot keep concentration on one thing for a long period of time. Or just take a break whenever you feel that you need it.
Remove the distractions
When you organize your day and have an important job, presentation, school obligations, turn off the phone and other devices so that you are not disturbed and “distracted” from the work you do. Make sure that your work/study place is clean and organised. Also before the work itself, think about what results you want and can achieve with this endeavor and what it is that you should strive for more.
NOT To-Do List
We also suggest a „NOT To-Do List“, write everything you don’t want to do, what you want to remove or reduce from your life, and try to stick to it. If you try for a while it will become a habit, so you will be able to cross that thing from your NOT To-Do List.
Exercise and Rest
Also, save some time for exercise, don’t focus on the mind only, but also leave some time for the body and it needs a break from everyday obligations. It is important that you have at least 8 hours of sleep so that you can function normally and do everything you imagined.
Be focused on what you do, don’t leave the job half done. This will create thoughts in you that you are not capable of organizing your time. Don’t despair.
You need to know that if you want your day, your closet, your food and everything else you have to be what you imagine them to be, you need to be a good organizer. That is the basis.
To reach the goal you need to go step by step. Just be persistent and ambitious. Believe and you will succeed, if you already have a picture in your head then you have solved half of the problem.
