The main aim of this project is to deliver and equip youth workers and youth leaders with wide spectrum of entrepreneurial competencies adapted to rural environment, which they will transfer and implement towards the main target group, young people in rural areas. During the program of the course the participants who will be in the main role of the learning process, will gain knowledge about the core basics of entrepreneurship, practical skills in establishing, implementing and organizing own enterprise adapted to the realities of rural environment. The young people equipped with entrepreneurial competencies, leadership skills will increase their chance of avoiding social exclusion. The young people will be also more capable of creating their own entrepreneurial opportunities in rural areas and will be more competitive on the job market.
Objectives of the project:
– Introduction of the concept of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial skills and youth leadership. Making the participants aware of the key principles in the field.
– New tools and methods of non-formal education to be created for work with young people from rural areas on the topics entrepreneurship and leadership
– To explore the possibilities for funding of rural entrepreneurial endeavors available for young people on European, national and regional levels.
– To develop skills for youth workers in the field of development and implementation of youth project within Erasmus +
-To initiate exchange of good practices in the field of youth entrepreneurship and rural entrepreneurship between the participants and their organizations.
-To create multipliers, in the face of the youth workers and youth leaders, of the knowledge and skills gained, amongst the young people they are working with.
This international training course will be facilitated using various non-formal learning methods such as presentations, discussions, work in groups, buzz groups etc., but also using innovative ones like a new forms of negotiation techniques or mindfulness meditations. The training course will stimulate creativity, active participation, and sense of initiative and involvement of the participants.
