Description:

Objectives
A speech disorder is a difficulty that somebody has to overcome but it should be for no reason
something that will prevent somebody from fulfilling his dreams. Unfortunatelly , the formal education
can not pass this message to people regardless if they stutter or not. As a result, people who stutter
remain excluded and consider Stuttering as something that torture them from the beginning of their
life. Hence, there is a certain challenge for third sector organizations to come up with effective
projects and assist the formal education efforts to address inclusion of people who Stutter.
During the two Activities we plan to use Youth Workers and Non formal Education to :
1.Include people who Stutter in their societies.
2. raise awareness about Stutter as a Speech Peculiarity
3. make the collaboration between people who Stutter and people who do not more efficiently and
smoothly
4. educate and give experience to Youth Workers to create an safe and smooth enviroment for
people who Stutter
5. plan future Actions(KA2,local,European etc.)
6. promote inter-organizational learning about the projects topic.Organizations who are experience
with Stuttering will influence Organizations who dont have.
7. Promote Erasmus+ Project in Rural Area (Municipallity of Peonia)
8.Give opportunities to participants with fewer opportunities
All the goals to make clear how important the action will be.The objectives are to:
1.Strengthen the active participation of young people belonging to socially vulnerable groups due to
stuttering. We wil deal with logophobia that stuttering causes. The program will focus on improving the
skills of pws and to developing their personality so that they can be active in the future
the area of youth, civil society and the labour market.
2.Understand that with the help of Youth Work we can change our society for the better, as Youth
Work is a first form of work experience.
3.Strengthen the awareness of what is stuttering and thereby create a more appropriate ground for
their integration and development
4.Creation of an safe environment in which everyone will express freely and emphasizie only the
content of what they say, not the way.
5. To improve participant’s foreign language skills, enhance participants’ knowledge of cultural
diversity and European citizenship.
6. To establish sustainable partnerships among project partners organisations in order to increase
the internationalization of their youth work.
8. To enhance participants’ knowledge of Erasmus+ Program, its Key Actions and encourage
development of new projects and initiatives under Erasmus+ Program.
Activities
The Stutter Live Action will include two Activities:

years and in the Youth Exchange youngsters from 18 to 24 years except from the leaders. We will ensure gender balance and
of course balance between people who Stutter and people who do not.Participants should be interested
in the topic of dealing with Stuttering as a Peculiarity and Inclusion of pws.Special knowledge is not
mandatory., more than half of particpants will be people with fewer opportunities.
The first activity will focus on providing theoritical and practical knowledge to Youth Workers about
people who Stutter and Inclusion. In cooperation with organizations, the facillitators and the trainers

Since we wanted our Training Course to have even more impact we designed also a Youth
Exchange in which 8 youth workers from the Training Course to partcipate as national delegation
leaders. This Youth Excange will aim to include people who Stutter from all 8 countries and also to
promote cooperation between people who stutter and people who don’t. On the other hand,Youth
Workers will have an active role since they will participate in the preparation of the participants and
will support with the sessions. This way they will gain a lot of useful experience
We will implement activities in nature ,indoor activities and visits to local institutions in order to
understand Stuttering, deal with logophobia, promote cooperation between people who stutter and
people who dont stutter and finally promote Stuttering as nothing more than a peculiarity.
There, participants will have the chance to set up for the 9 days of the YE a real Erasmus+ Village. In
general this causes excitement to all the participant since they will be able more or less live in an safe
simulation of normal life. The Sessions of the Youth Exchange will be held by the participants itself
with the guidance and the support of the facilitator. All together we will work on understanding what
stuttering is and learn how to deal with this peculiarity indaily life.Of course , during the 10 days we
don’t expect miracles(this is not speech therapy) but the motivation that we will give to people who
stutter with logophobia is from itself really important.
The expected goals for the Youth Exchange are to:
1. Strengthen the active participation of young people belonging to socially vulnerable groups due to
stuttering.
The program will focus on improving the skills of pws and to developing their personality so that they
can be active in the future the area of youth, civil society and the labour market.
2.Understand that with the help of Youth Work we can change our society for the better, as Youth
Work is a first form of work experience.
3.Strengthen the awareness of what is stuttering and thereby create a more appropriate ground for
their integration and development
4.Create an safe environment in which everyone will express freely and emphasizie only the content
of what they say, not the way.
5.Deal with logophobia that stuttering causes
6.Promote the benefits of Erasmus+ in the local community
7.Give opportunity to a excluded group of people voice.People who Stutter under the fear that they
will not get included often avoid to participate in Erasmus+ Actions. This Actions will make them clear
that they should accept and appreciate their peculiarity and not use it as an excuse of not developing
themselves
8.Support the local initiaves of the community of Axiochori
9.Promoting cooperation between Balkan countries
Impact
One of the success criteria of each project is the multiplying and dissemination of the results. This is
very important, because you will harvest the ‘’fruit’’ of your efforts that you exert for months to reach
to this. But the ‘’harvesting’’ is not the only thing that we have to do, we also have to ‘’sell’’ the
products we have gotten. Here is the importance of the dissemination of the results. The promotion
and dissemination plan will be developed by the partnering organisations in order to ensure the
maximal visibility and multiplication of the project results in the countries involved in the project. We
will be using all the resources that we have, to spread the results of the projects among our friends,
peers and target groups with whom we are working. We are cooperating with mass media and online
newspapers who will be spreading the information about the results. Information will be published
also in the websites of partner organisations. The groups and pages in social media (Facebook,
Linkedin, Twitter) that are being moderated by the participants and partner organisations are good
resources for disseminating the results of the project. Also for follow up activities the participants will
have be offered to organise seminars, activities, discussions in their organisations and talk about the
results and impacts of the activity. After the activity we will be creating audio-visual products with the
materials, photos and videos. It will be delivered to each partner organisation and participants. We
will develop information material about the results and tools used during the activity which will be
spread on SALTO. The main stakeholders of the dissemination will be the beneficiaries of the partner
organisations, young people who are interested in this topic and want to get information and make
projects using their capacities. And of course, one of the stakeholders is the young people (and not
only young) who are registered in the portal of SALTO. They will get the activity tool through SALTO
toolbox. Also the final open event, we are planning to do in the end of the project will give great
visibillity to the activity and will be a great dissemination event. It is very important for participants to
know that their competences are recognized by the other institutions. Hence, organisations involved
in this activity will spread the outcomes among their beneficiaries in order to reach a recognition of
the documents that show these outcomes.
We will spread the outcomes of the project by creating a guide for how to deal with people who
Stutter in order to include them. This guide will be used in both Training Course and Youth
Exchage.During the project we will create a Facebook Site and Instagram Post in which we will post
photos and will promote Eramus+ and the goal of the Action.Organizations and paticipants will have
to share the links to increade the impact even more Moreover participants will create brochures and
Videos Spot in order to inform people about what Stuttering is and how they should behave to people
who Stutter. We will even make an local event in Polykastro in cooperation with a local school and the local
Society. Also the project will be promoted and disseminated through https://stamily.org/ which was
created after a youth exchange about Stuttering from the annete foundation. The final outcome of the
project will be to create a website in where we will include everything and we will give hope to all
people who Stutter.
In the end , participants in cooperation with youth Workers and organizations will organize a local
event in order to promote the outcome of the project. This way way we will ensure the highest impact of the
Stutter Live Activity at local, national and international level.
