Number of sent participants: 8
2018 was the European Year of Cultural Heritage and our aim was to promote the cultural heritage of the former Yugoslav countries. Diversity connected us and diversity still connects us. Through our activities, young participants from Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and North Macedonia joined and gained learning competences through the Erasmus + program. The youth exchange was attended by 40 young people between the ages of 18 and 30. We have also included young people with fewer opportunities and countries with fewer opportunities. We are proud that we have managed to connect so well and offer our youth a unique opportunity. Through the activities, we learned about the European Year of Cultural Heritage, and at the end we have also promoted it. Working methods were Icebreakers, energizers, teamwork, interactive and creative workshops, open-air workshops, discussions, role play, informal gatherings, etc. We met in Murska Sobota, Slovenia and we have showed to Europe that Balkan is also active and interesting.
